Big Changes are Happening
Beginning Monday, June 7th, the Kitchen Sync will offer paying subscribers more content, more insights, and more opportunities for engagement. Before I get into the details, let me start with a few words of appreciation:
Thank you for reading and supporting this newsletter. I know there’s a ton of content out there, and I’m grateful to each and every one of you for allowing me to share my thoughts and ideas. I understand not everyone will choose a paid subscription, but I am thankful for all of you.
The Kitchen Sync is a labor of love. It started out as an informal email between friends and has grown to more than 7,000 readers — nearly 70% of whom read the newsletter every week. That’s AMAZING! Thank you for reading and sharing with your friends. My goal is that the Kitchen Sync will remain a valuable resource at a time when technology is a growing part of virtually every economic, social, and political issue. Your support in this effort helps make that happen.
Over the next couple weeks, you’ll hear from me occasionally, in a short-lived effort intended to make sure everyone knows about the transition to paid subscriptions.
Starting today, you can choose one of three subscriptions:
For $5 a month or $50 a year, Insiders will get the Monday Brief delivered to their inbox every week (with audio), as well as exclusive access to longer form “Deep Dives” on important tech and national security issues, podcast interviews with policymakers and thought leaders, breaking news alerts and analysis, community discussion threads, and other benefits.
For $100 a year, Founders will get all of the Insider benefits plus exclusive engagement with me, with other thought leaders, and each other in a monthly Founders video call where we will discuss the most important tech and national security trends and topics.
Free subscribers will get the Monday Brief (without audio) delivered directly to their inbox twice a month as well as occasionally receiving other public postings.
**As a special thank you, the first 200 people to sign up for an annual “Insider” membership will only pay $40!**
If you’re interested in a group subscription, simply reply to this email and I’ll get in touch.
